Styria, the Green Heart of Austria, consists of more than half of forest and is a top destination for your family holiday. This greenest region of the country has, in addition to wide views and beautiful towns, delicious regional products such as pumpkins and apples to offer, but also delicious wines from the vineyards of the south. Mighty and mountainous in the north, with the Salzkammergut and the almost 3000 meter high Dachstein. You will also find Austria's newest national park here: the breathtaking gorges of the Gesäuse. From Peter am Kammersberg you have many starting points to explore the region via a hiking or mountain bike tour. Take the elevator up and enjoy the beautiful nature. Of course you can go down again with the elevator, but what about a sporty walk to the valley or if you really want something different you can book a paragliding flight or of course slide down spectacularly with the summer toboggan run. You will not be bored for a moment here, because there is certainly no shortage of activities. Culture lovers can also indulge themselves, the city of Murau is known for its medieval castle, but the cities of Graz, Salzburg and Klagenfurt are also definitely worth a visit. Or would you rather go to romantic Vienna for a day or let the children have fun in one of the amusement parks? It's all possible...
